International Trade FETAC Level 5:

Aim:

It is designed to enable learners to operate effectively in an export department. The focus is on the theoretical knowledge underlying international trade and on the practical duties taken on in that department.

Who is this course for:

This course is aimed at anyone who wishes to trade abroad either by import or export or for the business person who wishes to expand trading. The course is also applicable to someone who wishes to study this for their own personal education and interest.

English Level:

An upper-intermediate level of English is required for this course. A scoring of a B2 in the TIE system is sufficient.

Course Objectives:

The student will learn how companies function, as well as import/export practice and procedures. To accompany the basics of trading internationally you will also learn how to resolve disputes, the formation of binding contracts and how to go about finding agreement agencies.
