MII (Marketing Institute of Ireland) Step Into Marketing:

Aim:

The aims of this syllabus are to enable candidates to understand how marketing functions in the world of business and the relationship between marketing and other aspects of business.

Who is this course for:

This qualification is intended for anyone who requires an introduction to working in the area of marketing. Successful candidates may progress to the university-level Certificate in Marketing Skills awarded by The Marketing Institute of Ireland.

English Level:

An intermediate level of English is required for this course. A scoring of a B1 in the TIE system is sufficient.

Course Objectives:

The course covers the fundamental basics of marketing, from marketing research to communicating with the customer and how to get your product to the customer.

Evaluation Methods:

Overall assessment consists of the following:

* A 2-hour exam at the end of the course based on the course syllabus

* Task-based assignments during the course that will contribute towards the final result.

* An individual sales presentation.
